Gulf Shores Golf Club offers a spectacular experience. The beautiful Gulf Coast setting, challenging course, and elegant clubhouse create an atmosphere that both the novice and enthusiast will admire. We have been rated in the top 15 courses in Alabama by golfadvisor.com and have a 97.9% positive rating by those who have played our course.
The course was built in the 1960’s, and was the first golf course in Gulf Shores, Alabama. In November 2005, the course closed to undergo a complete renovation. Taking place under the guidance of Jay and Carter Morrish, the renovation lengthened the par 71 course by 300 yards and added numerous water features, enhanced fairways, and additional bunkers. The result is a spectacular product that no golf enthusiast will want to miss.
While we know and love the fact that you have come to Gulf Shores for vacation or a visit, we ask that you please dress for golf. Men should wear collared shirts and appropriate shorts or pants. Please, no cut-offs or swimsuits.
This scenic course is home to an abundance of wildlife, including our signature fox squirrels, raccoons, alligators and snakes. They won’t bother you if you don’t bother them. Please, live and let live. Also hazards come into play on several holes, so be careful while you search, and please be mindful of pace of play. We want everyone to enjoy the day.
Afterward, enjoy some food and beverages on the deck where you can watch others play, or inside our restaurant to catch a game on television.
